The CentriFUGA as a Contemporary Music Community, a group of composers from Budapest’s longstanding, continually evolving, and expanding contemporary music community, is once again connecting with the Transparent Sound New Music Festival. This year, however, their unique theme comes with a deliberate conceptual focus.

CentriFUGA? Because it loves to experiment.
Transparent? Because the music will also be audibly transparent.
Exhibition? Because you don’t have to sit at a concert.

The Transparent Music Exhibition invites visitors to an exciting and unique experience where composers and especially musicians connect with one another in a way reminiscent of spliced-together tape loops. What is this strange, mysterious situation? You’ll find out at FUGA on January 19.

The 2025 X. TEXHIBITION exhibition has joined the concept with a pre-event curator-led tour on the same day at 4:00 PM.
